Rules and regualtions are as follows:

- Starting bid - $5
- Nothing Illegal/Unethical
- Nothing Sexual
- Money to be paid on the night - if not, sale is void; receipt will be issued
- Receipt stands as contract of slaveship and must be redeemed/used up to the midnight ADND night, i.e Friday October 5th 2007, otherwise sale is void.
- Slave time frame - 5 hours - longer time negotiable with master; OT applies on personal terms!
- Slaves can buy other slaves, but cannot ask them to do what has been assigned to them by someone else.
- All disputes to be handled by the ADND Executive Committee.
- Please keep in mind this Slave Auction is for fundraising purposes and as such is performed in good nature. Slaves should not be taken advantage of unnecessarily.

Venue: Wentworth building level 2 (right beside the cafeteria)

You’ll be provided with a voting slip at the booth. Please drop by and show your support by voting. If you have any enquiries, feel free to ask any of our committee members.
Voting will be closed on the 21st of September 2007 5pm.

We will be having our Annual General Meeting (AGM) next Friday 6.30pm,
14th September 2007 @ Education Lecture Room 424. All SUAMS members
are invited to join us on getting the inside scoop on supporters and
doubters of your favorite (or least favourite) people running for the
commitee! If you do intend to run for the SUAMS commitee, please
contact us as soon as possible. You can do so by sending any commitee
member an email with the nomination form, which is attached to this
email.

Should you have any enquiries about the duties and responsibilities of

speech, there will be a 2 minute long question and answer session

be there at 6.00 pm. Please be punctual! Dress code is formal for
nominees- Long sleeve shirt + tie for Gents, blouse + slacks / skirt
for Ladies.

AGM Nomination Form

Hello people,

Think you are creative and extarordinary? Think you have something in your brain that needs to get out and the only way out is through writing (or typing)? Think you’re way cooler than other people? Think you want to say that you like/hate somebody but don’t have the guts to say it straight to that somebody’s face cos you’re way too cool for that? Think…..OK. I think that’s enough. Don’t think anymore people. We know what you’re thinking and we want you! Yes, you (and therfore justifies that this email is not a random spam)!

Well, technically speaking, we don’t really want you but we want your contributions in the forms of creative writing, photography or artsy things to be published in ROJAK, SUAMS annual publication. So that makes YOU important. You are allowed to write anything you want and send in any photos or paintings that you like but fortunately, we get to decide what’s in and what’s out (well, again, technically speaking, this is only true if we get loads and loads of contributions that we have to make some “cuts” here and there to allow ROJAK remains a publication, and not a freaking Commerce textbook).

Anyways, we value anything that you send us, even random things like a pressed dead butterfly or your clean CK underwear (and I emphasise on the word “random”). We are eternally grateful and we believe that by sending us your contribution, you’re the coolest person in the world (this does not necessarily reflect the opinion of SUAMS as a whole - in fact, this is the honest opinion of your dearly Editor, or simply put “Please send me something…..”). We are hoping to get the 2007 ROJAK done before the AGM and distribute the copies to you during the AGM itself.

So people, start being creative now. You ain’t got all year! Who knows, this will be your big break to make it as a professional writer (well, that’s if you can surpass yours truly….hahaha i.e. laughing at my own joke).
